The ski resort Flumserberg is located in St. Gallen, a canton the northern parts of Switzerland, and here you will find most of what you need to know about Flumserberg. The best time of year to ski in Flumserberg is during the mid November to start April.
Flumserberg is open for skiing right now and the slopes currently have a reported snow depth of 40 centimeters. 94% of the lifts are open today, and 83% of the slopes are open to the public for skiing and snowboarding.
In Flumserberg you will find 17 lifts with a lift capacity of 32242 passengers/hour. There are 65 kilometer of groomed pistes in total, divided into 14 kilometer blue pistes, 40 kilometer red pistes and for the more experienced skiers, 11 kilometer black pistes. The highest point in the ski system is at 2222 meter, which gives a vertical drop of 1557 meter.
In Flumserberg you can also try night skiing as some slopes are illuminated after dark. There are also other skiing and snowboarding activities here besides the slopes, for the more daring (and perhaps more experienced) skiers there is both a fun park and a halfpipe facility.
If downhill skiing isn't your thing, or other in travel company don't like it, there are 20 kilometers of cross-country skiing tracks available for those who needs a good exercise. For those of you who want to try something new (probably), there is also a toboggan run here that is open to the public, as well as prepared trails for winter hiking.
