Annaberg is a ski resort that you will find in Lower Austria (or Niederösterreich) in Austria, and on this page you will find most of what you need to know for a skiing holiday here. The season in Annaberg normally starts in mid December to end March.
In Annaberg you will find 6 lifts with a lift capacity of 8052 passengers/hour. There are 12 kilometer of groomed pistes in total, divided into 8 kilometer blue pistes, 2 kilometer red pistes and for the more experienced skiers, 2 kilometer black pistes. The vertical drop is at most 404 meter and the highest served area by the ski lift system is at 1300 meter. For snowboarders or the more adventurous skiers, there is also access to a fun park, as well as a halfpipe facility.
If you have family members or others in your party who are not interested in down hill skiing, there are cross-country skiing tracks available at a total length of 18 kilometers. If you want to take it a little more leisurely one day and get a nice winter experience, you can go out and hike. In Annaberg there are prepared trails for winter hiking.
