Small village with great opportunities
Finkenberg is a relatively small village situated in Ziller Valley/Zillertal in Tyrol. The village is not far from Mayrhofen, which is one of the larger towns in the valley. If you continue up the valley you reach other small villages. The village at the top called Hintertux is where you'll find Hintertux glacier.Getting around in the valley and the ski system is quite easy and convenient. There are both interconnected ski lifts as well as ski busses to choose from.
Going for a skiing holiday in Finkenberg means that you get value for money, as you get access to such a large ski area. The ski area provides excellent slopes for skiers of all abilities and levels.

Getting to Finkenberg
It is convenient to travel to Finkenberg. One of the best options is to fly to Innsbruck and then take a bus or a rental car and drive up to Finkenberg. The transfer time is about an hour.It is also possible to book your flight to Salzburg or Munich. It is a bit further away but really no more than two hours by car.
Trains run to Mayrhofen and there is a connecting bus for the last distance.
