How do I get to Verbier from Geneva Airport?

Verbier is approximately 160 km from Geneva Airport. Unfortunately, Verbier does not have a train station, but it is still fairly easy to get there by train. The normal route is to take the train from Geneva Airport to Martigny and switch train to Le Châble. From the train station in Le Châble you can either take the telecabine lift up to Verbier or take a bus. In total the train option takes up to 3 hours and cost somewhere between 50 and 100 euro.

A quicker way to get to Verbier from Geneva Airport is either renting a car or take a taxi/transfer. By car it takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. This is usually a more expensive option than train but depending on how many people you are in your party it is not necessarily that more expensive when you split the cost.

The third option is taking the bus with Alpybus that takes a bit more than 2 hours. The cost is 54.55 CHF (2023 prices, about the same amount in euro), with drop off at Parking Brunet in Verbier (or departure from here if going to the airport).
