Lauchernalp is a ski resort that you will find in the Swiss Alps, in the canton of Valais (or Wallis), and on this page you will find most of what you need to know for a skiing holiday here. The season in Lauchernalp normally starts in mid December to mid April.

There are 37 kilometer of groomed pistes in total, divided into 17 kilometer blue pistes, 12 kilometer red pistes and for the more experienced skiers, 7 kilometer black pistes. The vertical drop is at most 1697 meter and the highest served area by the ski lift system is at 3100 meter. Here you can also find some really long pistes, the longest one is 10 kilometers.
If you have family members or others in your party who are not interested in down hill skiing, there are cross-country skiing tracks available at a total length of 9 kilometers. For those of you who want to try something new (probably), there is also a toboggan run here that is open to the public, as well as prepared trails for winter hiking.
