Fiesch, Switzerland

Fiesch is a ski resort that you will find in the Swiss Alps, in the canton of Valais (or Wallis), and on this page you will find most of what you need to know for a skiing holiday here. The season in Fiesch normally starts in start December to mid April.

In Fiesch you will find 35 lifts with a lift capacity of 41819 passengers/hour. There are 104 kilometer of groomed pistes in total, divided into 42 kilometer blue pistes, 50 kilometer red pistes and for the more experienced skiers, 12 kilometer black pistes. Many lifts and slopes belong to the whole ski area Aletsch Arena - Riederalp/Bettmeralp/Fiesch Eggishorn which Fiesch is part of, but you have access to everything. The vertical drop is at most 1024 meter and the highest served area by the ski lift system is at 2869 meter.

In Fiesch you can also try night skiing as some slopes are illuminated after dark. For snowboarders or the more adventurous skiers, there is also access to a fun park, as well as a halfpipe facility.

If you have family members or others in your party who are not interested in down hill skiing, there are cross-country skiing tracks available at a total length of 7 kilometers. For those of you who want to try something new (probably), there is also a toboggan run here that is open to the public, as well as prepared trails for winter hiking.
