Alpe di Siusi ski area

The ski area is located at an altitude ranging from 1,060 meters to 2,245 meters above sea level. There are 23 ski lifts to serve you. In case you want to do some jumps or try some rails there is a good funpark and if you want to try out the halfpipe there is one which is about 1,500 meters long.

In case you would like to do something else for a day or two, then you should go tobogganing in the slopes for sledding. The longest slope is almost five kilometers and you will surely have fun. If you do not have your own sled, you could rent one.

In addition to the 60 kilometers of pistes available in Alp di Siusi it is also possible to ski in the great Dolomiti Superski area consisting of a total of 12 ski resorts, including Alp di Siusi. Here you can explore the entire 1,220 kilometers of slopes of different levels, and there are 450 lifts to take you up the mountain. On a ski trip here you can discover new slopes every day and enjoy your holiday.

Activities in Alpe di Siusi

We would recommend you to explore the surroundings a bit. You can do this on your skis by going on randonée skis up the mountain or you could rent a pair of snowshoes. Pack your avalanche kit and you thermos and sandwich and head off into the unknown. A guide is recommended if you are not trained for off-piste.

There are other fun things in the village too, such as ice skating and curling. There are also several good restaurants where you can indulge in Italian dishes such as wonderful pizzas and pastas.

Travelling to Alp di Siusi

The closest airport is in Innsbruck. From here you would usually need to continue by car, so book a rental car in advance and pick it up at airport. Consider if you need a ski rack and to book snow chains in advance as they sometimes run out of them.

In case you prefer to travel by train, there are stations in Bressanone and Bolzano. A transfer bus runs up to the ski resort, but do check departure times in advance.
