Where would I fly to if I want to go skiing in Courmayeur?
The two best options if you want to catch a flight to get to Courmayeur is to fly to either Geneva or Turin. Geneva is closer, about 125 kilometres to drive, so if you are planning on renting a car it is a shorter ride. Bear in mind though that you have pass through the Mont Blanc tunnel that will cost you about 65 euro for a return ticket, find the latest and updated price list here.
From Turin the driving distance is about 150 kilometres and takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. You can also go by train from Turin to the city of Pré-Saint-Didier, at least one change of train required, and from there you can take a bus that takes about 15 minutes.
Other possible options to Milan if you can find cheaper flights to there. Malpensa Airport is closer, and you can drive from there in less than 2.5 hours, and from Linate Airport the drive is about 3 hours.
